General Notes: Husband - Urban Anthony ARBOGAST
Urban became an ordained deacon in 1992. He was a lifelong farmer, running a dairy operation until 1977. He continued to farm and retired from farming in 2006. Urban was a Scipio Township trustee for 21 years and a farm service agent for 16 years.
Urban was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, Republic American Legion Post 404, and a life member of Green Springs VFW. He was a member of the Republic Historical Society and served as treasurer. He belonged to the Knights of Columbus St. Aloysius Council 11287. He was a 4th degree of the Archbishop Schrembs Assembly 810 and a past board member of Farm Bureau.
Urban served in the U.S. Army during World War II in the European theater. He had a passion for farming and for his loving wife of 64 years. His proudest accomplishment was his 12 daughters. He loved to celebrate and looked for any opportunity, but especially his birthday. He enjoyed his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and young people in general. He looked for opportunities to share his life experiences, including his military service. He had great love for his country.
