General Notes: Husband - Gilbert Walter ARDNER
Gil graduated in 1944 from Scipio Republic High School. He was a light tank driver serving in World War II from 1944-1946. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin and retired in 1985 as a machinist at National Machinery, Tiffin. Gil was a member of American Legion Post 354, New Riegel and the Quarter Century Club. He was also a member of the FFA. He enjoyed playing cards, campouts with his family, cooking and baking, woodworking and hunting. At the age of 83, Gil shot a deer with a crossbow. He loved spending time with his family.

Marguerite was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, attended daily Mass, a member of the Rosary Altar Society and worked BINGO at the festival for years. She volunteered for dinners at the Knights of Columbus, Seneca County School of Opportunity, and the Ecumenical Sharing Kitchen. She enjoyed going to auctions, touring the United States with JB Tours, making noodles, walking, and winning at Euchre. Early on, she worked at Tiffin Glass House and loved being the best mom to her children. The grandchildren thought of her as a superhero.
