Jack was a 1956 graduate of St. Wendelin High School and lifelong member of St. Wendelin Parish where he had served as a lector, Eucharistic minister, adult mass server, and was active in church functions including its CRHP teams. He worked 20 years for Society National Bank, Fostoria, and served as business manager for St. Wendelin Parish. He also worked for Fostoria Distribution Center, Ace Hardware and was a 20-year associate of Hoening Funeral Home.
Jack had been active with Boy Scouts of America, Civil Air Patrol and was a board member for VOCA of Ohio, Fostoria. He was a third- and fourth-degree member of the Fostoria Knights of Columbus, an ambassador for Maker's Mark and a former Lion's Club member.
Jack was an advocate of Christ, a humble, kind man, who prided himself on being a passionate and devout spouse, father, grandfather and friend. He was a man who never knew a stranger. He was a good man, who lived a good life and has left a lasting legacy.
