Ruth loved to travel. She enjoyed the privilege of visiting all fifty states, ten Canadian Provinces and twenty-four other countries. She was a member of St. Andrew's United Methodist Church, Findlay, a former member of the First United Methodist Church of Dearborn, MI where she was very active and held many positions within the church, she was also a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star in McCutchensville, Ohio
