General Notes: Husband - Alvin J KIESEL Jr
Alvin was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church where he was a former trustee. He farmed his entire life on the family farm where he was born. Alvin was the founding member of Ohio No-Till Council and was inducted into the Seneca County Agriculture Hall of Fame in 2012. He was also on the Seneca County Soil and Water Conservation Board of Supervisors for 15 years, where he truly believed in preserving the soil for future generations. He was a member of the Brown Swiss Cattle Association, Union Grange, and National Grange for 65 years and the Seneca county Farm Bureau. He enjoyed farming and dairy farming, and his trip to Alaska for his 50th wedding anniversary.

Pat graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1950 and was a member of Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. She worked at Sterling for many years as the secretary to the president of the company and also worked at J.B. Roofing. Pat worked on the "Whitehall Farms" with her husband, as dairy farmers and was a longtime National Grange member. She loved sewing, making all her children's clothes while they were young, enjoyed baking, gardening, canning and her trip to Alaska for her 50th wedding anniversary.

After high school, he worked for Waldo Zies Builders and then became self employed as Curns Builders. He built many homes around the area and was a member of the Seneca County Home Builders. He also was part owner of Clinton Heights Golf Course. Dick enjoyed traveling in his RV to South Carolina and relaxing in his chair with his two dogs on his lap. But most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his granddaughters.
