General Notes: Husband - Florian John FRANKART Jr
Florian had worked for the Nickleplate Railroad for two years and then retired in 1986 after 38 years of service at Gray Printing in Fostoria. He was a member of St. Wendelin Catholic Church where he served as a eucharistic minister. He was a volunteer for our three area nursing homes, the Fostoria Sharing Kitchen and had delivered Meals on Wheels. He was a member of 55 Plus Club, made over 80,000 rosaries for the Rosary Maker's Guild, and was an honorary life member of the New Riegel American Legion 354, having served in the U.S. Army during WW II in the 78th Division in Germany.
Florian was known as an avid card player. He especially loved euchre and playing cards on Monday nights at Bascom. He was a handyman and will be remembered for his sense of humor, joke telling, warm heartedness and great love for his family and his special bond with his grandchildren.

She was a 1948 graduate of Hopewell Loudon High School and a member of the Catholic Ladies of Columbia for over 50 years and the 55 plus club. Mary enjoyed making rosaries and volunteering at local nursing homes with Florian. Mary was a stay at home mom when her children were growing up, and will be remembered as a wonderful cook and baker by them. She had worked as a library aide for St. Wendelin Schools and later as a dietary assistant at St. Catherine's in Fostoria. Mary was an avid card player and especially enjoyed playing euch
