General Notes: Husband - Thomas William BRADNER

His kids and grandkids were his pride and joy! He would speak of them with great love, and he hoped that he had given them the tools needed to live a fulfilled and happy life even after he was gone. After the strokes, he had a chance to bond with his grandchildren in a very special way. His brother, Fred, was his best friend with whom he philosophized many hours about the meaning of life. He spoke with great admiration about his parents and their devotion to each other, and he loved his sisters, Judy and Laura with great tenderness and care.

Tom worked at Atlas Crankshaft (later ThyssenKrupp Crankshaft Co.), at Autolite and NSI Crankshaft. Wherever he worked, he made friends. He excelled at his job as an electrical engineer in maintenance and always expressed gratefulness for the guidance he received from God when solving problems. He made sure to give credit to his coworkers, and there are many who considered him a mentor. He loved going to work and had no plans to retire - his work friends were his second family.

Tom's faith was the most important light that guided him on his earthly journey. Therefore, a memorial Mass will begin at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016, at St. Wendelin Catholic Church, Fostoria. A luncheon and time of gathering and remembrance will follow the Mass in the Parish Hall.
