Dr. Beisner graduated from Columbian High School in 1953 and the Ohio State University, College of Dentistry, in 1960. Jack lettered in lacrosse for the Ohio State University. While attending dental school, he also served in the U.S. Navy Reserves. He was a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from 1960 to 1962. Jack established a dental practice in Tiffin in 1962 and retired in 1992.
Dr. Beisner served on the board of directors for Tiffin Parks, the YMCA and the Rangers. He was a member of the North Central Ohio Dental Society, Ohio Dental Association, American Dental Association, Masons, Elks, Moose, Eagles, AMVETS and Coon Hunters.
