General Notes: Husband - Daryl G BALDOSSER
Daryl was a 1965 graduate of Republic High School and a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving with the 629th Medical Company CLR during the Vietnam era. Returning from the army, he married and began working at Clyde Whirlpool. He was employed at Whirlpool for 47 1/2 years, working as an electrician for 37 1/2, retiring in April 2013. He was a charter member of Green Springs Fire Department Station two, serving 15 years, and also trained as an EMT, serving as an EMT for Green Springs EMS for 23 years. He was a member of St. Jacob's United Church of Christ where he served as trustee, deacon and elder, was a member of Clyde Eagles, AMVETS, Wade Benfer American Legion Post No. 404 Republic, serving as their longtime Chaplain, and served for 21 years on the board of director for Impact Credit Union.
Daryl was an avid outdoorsman and often was found in the wooded ravines of the Weiker farm near Green Springs hunting morel mushrooms in the spring, white-tailed deer in late fall or tapping maples to collect sap in late winter. He also loved fishing and shared that pastime with his children and grandchildren.
