Eugene attended New Riegel High School and was a lifelong member of All Saints Parish (St. Boniface and St. Peter and Paul Catholic Churches). He also served as an usher at the parish. He was an honorary life member of Fostoria Knights of Columbus Council No. 1197 and a 40-year-plus member of NBS volunteer fire department.

Gene was a lifelong Seneca county farmer who loved working in the fields and the woods, spending time with his children and grandchildren and traveling. He worked at Alvada Tractor Sales, Fostoria Foundry and retired from General Dynamics Land Systems (Lima Tank Plant) in 1995.

Marguerite was very active in her church and community. She served as a lector, Eucharistic minister and usher at All Saints Catholic Church, New Riegel. She was past president of Toledo Diocesan Council of Catholic Women, All Saints Rosary Altar Society, New Riegel Women of the Moose Chapter 253, New Riegel American Legion Auxiliary and a member of the Associates of NCCW. She was a Red Cross blood donor of more than 20 gallons. She enjoyed working at the sharing kitchens in Fostoria and Tiffin.

Marguerite was a 1952 graduate of McCutchenville High School, from Terra Tech in 1989, from Tiffin University in 1991 and from Dayton University in 1999. She retired from Atlas Crankshaft in 1988, worked as director of religious education at New Riegel 1995-2005. She loved to travel in the United States, Europe, Alaska and Cancun. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, gardening, baking, canning and making strawberry jam.

Doc graduated in 1948 from McCutchenville High School. He was in the U.S. Air Force from 1951-1953, serving as a dental hygienist. He did his undergraduate work at The Ohio State University and received a doctorate of dental science degree there in 1960. He was a member of the Ohio State Presidents Club.
He established his dental practice July 9, 1960, in McComb, and his daughter, Nancy joined the practice in 1983. He was a Pierre Fauchard recipient. He was a member of the American Dental Association, the Ohio Dental Association, the Northwest Ohio Dental Society (past president) and the Blanchard Valley Health Foundation.

He was baptized at St. Patrick's, Bascom, confirmed at St. Nicholas, Frenchtown, and a member of St. Michael the Archangel Church, Findlay, and the K of C. He enjoyed fishing, farming, hunting and playing euchre, as well as extensive traveling. His favorite trip was in 2009, when he took all of his daughters to Israel.

Doc had been a Rotarian for more than 50 years, serving twice as president, and having perfect attendance for 50 years. He also was a Paul Harris Fellow. Doc made up Rotary meetings over the years in 15 different countries. He also was a member of the McComb American Legion and the VFW, 40/8 Club, the Findlay Moose and AMVETS. Doc was a very enthusiastic Buckeye fan, having attended many games, including many bowl games over the years. He was particularly proud of Ohio State's undisputed National Championship win Jan. 12 of this year.
