General Notes: Husband - Lewis Q ARNOLD
Lewis attended Hopewell-Loudon School. He then served in the U.S. Army as a drill sergeant of basic training following World War II. Lewis retired as a supervisor in 1990 from the National Machinery Co. after working there for 38 years. He was a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church, serving as an usher, trustee and a member of the Finance Committee. Lewis was also a member of the National Machinery Quarter Century Club and the American Legion.
Lewie was a much-loved husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Everyone who knew him loved him. He was a master gardener and took great pride in his lawn. Lewie was a handyman who could fix anything. He and LaDonna loved to travel, especially to Myrtle Beach. He is remembered for being able to ride his bicycle backwards.
