Mrs. Josepha Gruber Expired Today
Had Lived in Fort Wayne Many Years

Mrs. Josepha Gruber died at 5 o'clock this morning at the home of her son, Edward Gruber, 157 College street. Mrs. Gruber had been in ill health for some time and her death was due to the infirmities of age. She was the widow of Valentine Gruber who died many years ago.

Mrs. Gruber was born in Germany seventy-eight years ago and for about fifty years had been a resident of this city. Surviving her are five children--A. J. Gruber, Edward Gruber, Valentine Gruber, and Mrs. Veronna Miller, of this city, and Mrs. Frank Hilbert of Edgerton, Ohio. There are thirteen grandchildren. The deceased was a devoted member of St. Paul's Catholic church and was a member of the Rosary sodality.
